What to Wear
- Sturdy, Closed-Toe Shoes: Comfortable sneakers or walking shoes suitable for walking through uneven garden soil and near hot embers. Avoid flip-flops, sandals, or high heels.
- Breathable, Natural Fabrics: Cotton or linen clothing is ideal. Synthetic materials (like polyester or nylon) can melt or burn easily near open flames and live embers.
- Light Layers: Evenings in the countryside can cool down quickly after sunset, so bring a light jacket, cardigan, or sweater for dinner outdoors.
- Practical Clothing: Wear dark or casual clothes you don’t mind getting a little dusty from the soil or flour.
